THE WORD OF GOD

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.  Both the old and the new testaments are completely verbally inspired by God and without error in the writings, and they are the complete, full and final authority for faith and life. 2 Tim 1:17, 2 Peter 1: 19-21

THE TRINITY

We believe that there is only one God, existent in three persons: God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.  Gen 1:26, Matthew 28:19-20, 1 John 5:7

THE FALL OF MAN

We believe that man was created in the image of God to worship and serve Him.  Through sin by disobeying God, thus incurring both physical and spiritual death, which separated him from God.  Man’s nature was thus corrupted and he is utterly lost, “dead in trespasses and sins,” and totally incapable of saving himself and coming back into right relationship by his own merit and effort. Genesis 3:1-4, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6

VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life of miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the father and in His personal return in power to judge the world. Matthew 1: 18-25, Romans 8:34, John 14: 1-3

THE NEW BIRTH

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God’s grace.  Salvation is effective in regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and cannot be secured by man’s works or personal effort. Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Revelation 5:9, John 3:3

WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts2:4.  We believe that redemption by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.  We believe in the saving power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, a believer is enabled to live a Holy and righteous life in the presence of the world.  We believe in the manifestation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, equipping and edification  of the church. John 14:26, Acts 10:38, 1 Corinthians 12:1-10

THE CHURCH

We believe that the church is the body of Christ of which Jesus is the head and whose members are those who have truly received Christ by faith.  The local church is a tangible expression of the body of Christ in a particular location.  The purpose of the church is to make Christ known to lost world and to make disciples of all nations in obedience to the great commission.  Colossians 1:18, Ephisians 5:23, Matthew 28:16-20

MARRIAGE

We believe that marriage is an institution ordained by God.  Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime except by death where a member is free to remarry.  Marriage bed must be kept pure by all.  Genesis 2:18, Malachi 2:16, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 7:39

WATER BAPTISM

We believe in water baptism by immersion in water as an act of obedience symbolizing the believers faith in a crucified, buried and risen Christ, the believers death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness to life in Jesus Christ. Mark 16:16, Acts 2:41, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12

THE LORD”S SUPPER

The Lord’s supper is an act of obedience as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ to commemorate His death until He comes again.  We remember His death on the cross and the blood he shed for the forgiveness of our sins.  Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25

UNIVERSAL RESURRECTION

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved to eternal life, and of the sinners to everlasting punishment. John 5:24-29, Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:11-15, 21:3-4

SATAN’S JUDGEMENT

We believe that Satan, a fallen angel, is the god of this age, the adversary of Christ and His church, and that his destiny is eternal punishment.  We believe that the church has been given authority over all his power and activities.  Satan is defeated enemy and God has mandated His church to exercise His dominion and defeat satan in this wicked and perverse generation. Luke 10:17, Revelation 12:7-12, Matthew 16:18, Isaiah 14:12
